Meet the ladies of SoreyFitness!

Summer-Sale-2 Happy Tuesday all! Hope everything is wonderful with you all. I’m so excited that today we have a guest blogger who is sharing an amazingly yummy recipe with you all. Seriously. Can I make this Healthy Key Lime Pie for breakfast (and let’s be real for dinner too)?

Weekly Mantra…and an apology.

be flexible_keepitrealclean Soo, about this whole blogging thing. Sometimes I’m the worst. I was happy with how much I was working full time, writing for the blog, cooking every meal, working out, and balancing it all…until I wasn’t. We had a few super busy weeks followed by full weekends traveling. After a while, I was starting to feel exhausted, run down and stressed about how it was feeling impossible to do it all. Well, as you can see the thing that had to take a backseat was blogging.

To the Poppas: Happy Father’s Day!

I know I’m a day late, but hey. Such is life! My sister shared this quote with us yesterday for Father’s Day and i thought it was a great (and super fitting!) for my Dad. When I think back to all of the things he’s taught me over the years it always seems like it was random situation where something memorable popped up and boom! lesson learned.

Summer Running: Make a Summer Race that works!

Summer Running Ah, Summer running. You love it. You hate it. You love the way you can run at 8pm and its still light out. You love that you can pack running clothes in your bag, and not have to carry a separate pack just to drag along the layers. Let’s be honest. You love that your run can end with a happy hour while relaxing outside in the sun.

Summer Night Dinner: Grilled Fish Tacos with Jicama Slaw

Grilled Fish Tacos with Jicama Slaw Oh man. It’s been too long (according to my fiance) since we made tacos. Seriously though, I was on a taco bender for a while now…like 2-3 days a week people. Tacos are such an easy dinner for me to whip up when I’m feeling like having a salad for dinner. I can just throw together a salad for myself with whatever protein I want and then pop it in a taco for my fiance.
