Yessss! Here we are on St. Patrick’s Day! I can’t lie. I pretty much love every holiday…Christmas, of course! Easter, yes please! Flag day, Bring it on. (Well…its also one of my good friends birthday’s…but whatever). Today is one of my favorite holidays for sure though. I love a day that I can celebrate my Irish heritage, but then again on St. Patrick’s Day everyone is Irish, right?
So today I wanted to share with you my obsession. I love love LOVE tea. Okay, okay…I realize this isn’t the typically St. Patty’s day treat…but, at least its green? 😉 I used to drink tea at least once a day, if not multiple times a day. Lately, I’ve been feeling like I’m in a major slump and the way I’ve been combating it has been with oodles and oodles of caffeine. Um, yuck. I would barely open my eyes before I was pouring my first cup of coffee, then the afternoon would hit and I was in dire NEED of a coffee…okay granted I was only having coffee 2x a day, but considering I used to never drink coffee its a lot for me! A few weekends ago, I was at brunch with some friends and I realized my hand was SHAKING. Major sign that I need to reign it in!
So in order to combat my emerging addiction, why not replace it with another? 😉 Just kidding. But, I have been meeting my warm drink quota with something a little healthier…GREEN tea!
