On January 6, 2014 I started my first ever Whole30 and it was one of the best decision I have ever made. (If you aren’t familiar I suggest checking this out www.whole30.com and the book It Starts with Food By Doug and Melissa Hartwig). Starting my whole30 challenge was tough, but it honestly has launched me into an amazing journey that has inspired BIG changes in my life.
Some days when I’m totallyy dragging I turn on some music to pump it up a little bit and get my blood pumping for a good workout. Here are a few of my pump up songs I’ve been listening to lately!
Today I stopped into the drug store to grab some allergy medicine..ahh, the joys of spring…as always the trip turned into me wandering down every aisle, you know? Just in case I needed anything that I had no idea I needed :-). Anyways, as I turned down the seasonal aisle I was immediately hit by this sticky, sweet, chocolatel-y smell of the Easter Basket goodies.
Yesterday I tried on a bathing suit…soooo today I start an ab challenge. Being a so-called “Millennial” I want results fast, which is why I decided to make up a new ab routine.
I know its basically a sin for people who “eat clean” to not be overly obsessed with anything and everything sweet potato…I mean based largely on what I see on most social media posts and clean eating cookbooks…well, confession time. I did NOT share this undying, hold it on a pedestal, love for sweet potatoes, until I started to make my own version of these yummy sweet potato fries.
